Helping Out My Grandmother in Acquiring Assistance from the Government

My grandmother is no longer capable to work and earn money for a living. For this reason, want to know if she can acquire benefits for elderly people from the state. We have an aged neighbor and I heard that she is getting assistance from this government program. I am planning to visit a benefits center anytime soon. I need to know which requirements we have to prepare to make my grandmother qualified for this entitlement. Even if I really want to help her out with her daily expenses and medical needs, I cannot afford to constantly back her up on this. I also have my own family to provide for, as well as my siblings. We already tried getting in touch with grandmother’s children, but it seems like they are all busy with their own lives that they cannot even find time to know about the condition of their mother. I really hope that she will be chosen as one of the beneficiaries of this government program. She is a fine woman and she really deserves help more than anyone else.
