A Visit To The Art Gallery Worth Remembering

I live in India and it is known world over for the artwork and handicrafts. While the west celebrates its artists famously - with people often buying classic arts on canvas to hang on their own walls, little is known about Indian artists.
Exhibitions here are held in art galleries every month. I had the chance to go on a trip to an art gallery. It was the collection of paintings and artwork of artists from all over India. I was amazed to see the paintings done in a very professional way. I saw works of famous artist and each had worked on a particular theme. There were human figures, act of terrorism, festivals and also on the after effects of natural disaster. I was emotional on seeing these paintings as they had been depicted in a very real way. There was also woodcarving of famous artists. This was my first visit to an art gallery and I was touched by the expressions in each of these paintings.
